Having just written the words above, my reading this am. brought this quote by John Milton (1608-1674) to light! "But to know that which before us lies in daily life, is the prime wisdom". What can I say, the prime wisdom. This quote appears under the definition of life in my copy of "American Dictionary Of The English Language", by Noah Webster, 1828. Literally, a heavy reading for this Sunday morning August 24, 2025!
To add to the above ... "Often it is not even advantageous to know what will be." Stated by Cicero [Marcus Tullius Cicero, 106 - 43 B.C.]! A Roman orator and philosopher, well before my quotes above!!! Who would have guessed? What a deal!
