       Favorite quotes are not many on my pages of time but, here is one that has given me a few chuckles down my several hallways of time. It comes from my medical school biochemistry book of early 1970s, which would seem a very, very, strange place for a favorite quote but, here goes.

A Pursuit

Life ... Liberty ... AND ... Pursuit of ...

         After 54 years of marriage, my wife would say ...

                                                                                      CHCOLATE ... 😍

         My "say" would be ...                                           COFFEE ... 😎 !

         Anyhow, on a daily basis, the pursuit would occupy the events as follows: [please note each item given in the list would be preceded by the word "MY"].

                                                         ... The Walker ... first base after 20 years MS. 👍 

                                                         ... Library Desk and Chair (of 40 yrs.) ... 💪       

                                                         ... a pencil with its helmet (eraser) 👌   

                                                         ... clipboard with working papers firmly held at top ...😊   

                                                         ... Super Sticky "Post-It" notes all around ... ✌  

                                                         ... Book stacks of the day at reachable distance ... 👀

                                                         ... buttock in chair at appointed position ... 😍

                                                         ... legs elevated to padded desk arm 45 degree ...😁

                                                         ... clipboard, pencil, and papers, ready ... 🙌

         THEN ... "off to the races", as some might say living in my Blue Grass part of the Cosmos.💭

P.S. How about them "Emoji"! A trip through the jungle of images for the most symbolic images of thought. Still a lot of needles among my haystacks!

Singular

         Exceptional might be the correct thought to describe the definition of "culture" about to be written. You might guess that a lot of Jones surname tree climbing, "bits and pieces", lay under these words. All residual during the many years of trying to figure out the principles of this customary activity among the ancestors. Well, here goes!

         Culture:  The integrated pattern of human behavior that includes ... 

                                                             Thoughts ...

                                                              Speech ... 

                                                              Action ... (and)

                                                              Artifacts ... 

                                AND

                                          Depends upon man's capacity for learning ... 

                                AND 

                                          Transmitting knowledge to succeeding generations.   😊
